FC Ruh and Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy initiate a partnership with Rozdil orphanage.
Lviv football club Ruh has announced the start of cooperation with the Rozdil Children’s Orphanage (RCO), a municipal institution of the Lviv Regional Council. This initiative, supported by the club’s founder, Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, and the head of the Lviv Regional Branch of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytsky, is aimed at the social integration and development of 84 boarding school children aged 4-35 who have special needs.
Marianna Traska, acting director of the Rehabilitation Center, emphasized the importance of this cooperation for the socialization and development of the wards’ skills. According to her, this is the first experience of the children’s entry into the wider society, which will help them to gain confidence and determination.
The Ruh club plans to regularly host children from the RCO at its base, help form a football team and involve them in various joint activities. Rukh CEO Ihor Dedyshyn emphasized the importance of the club going beyond purely sporting activities and participating in social issues.
As part of the cooperation, a tour of the Ruh Academy has already been conducted for the wards of the RCO, and they were presented with sets of training uniforms. In response, the boarding school students presented the club with a handmade painting.
Hryhoriy Kozlovskyy, the founder of the FC Ruh, emphasized the importance of this initiative for the social adaptation of vulnerable groups and expressed his readiness to continue working to create an inclusive environment for every child.
This cooperation opens up new opportunities for the wards of the RCO, helping them to integrate into society, develop their abilities and achieve their goals through sports and social interaction.
