Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky urged European countries to ensure complete energy independence from Russia. He stated that it is impossible to continue purchasing gas from Moscow while waiting for support from the USA. Zelensky emphasized the need to diversify energy supply sources to avoid dependence on a single supplier, particularly Russia.
The president also reminded about the increase in energy resource exports planned by US President Donald Trump and called on Europe to take active steps to ensure its energy security in the future. He also criticized the position of some European leaders who do not seek access to American gas but hope for safe support from the USA.
