According to The Sun: The fashion world and other industries paid tribute to legendary designer Giorgio Armani, who passed away at the age of 91.

Victoria Beckham commented on the late Italian billionaire, noting that he was one of the most iconic figures in high fashion.

With a heartfelt expression, Victoria wrote:

“The fashion world has lost a true legend in Giorgio Armani – a visionary designer whose legacy will live on forever. I am proud to have called him a friend.”

Her colleague Donatella Versace also expressed gratitude, emphasizing that Armani was 'a man who 'made history and will be remembered forever'.

German actress Diane Kruger, who often wore Armani’s creations, expressed her sorrow, remembering him as 'one of the best people and mentors'.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni called Armani 'a man of elegance, restraint, and creativity', noting his contribution to elevating Italian fashion and its influence on the world.

Armani was associated with modern Italian style and elegance, and his clothing was worn by celebrities from David Beckham to Lady Gaga.

Known for his elegant approach both as a designer and businessman, Armani's company generated over £2 billion a year, and his fortune reached nearly £7.5 billion.

Although he had been ill for some time, Armani died in his home, however, his fashion house confirmed that he “worked until his last days.”

Hollywood star Julia Roberts also shared a memorable thought, calling him:

“A true friend. A legend.”

Formula 1 driver Charles Leclerc expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet and work with Armani, calling him 'a wonderful person'.

The football club Juventus, for which the designer created formal uniforms for the next two seasons, described him as 'an eternal symbol of elegance and Italian style'.

Italian TV presenter Simona Ventura referred to him as “our king,” emphasizing his influence on Italian pride.

Film producer Aurelio De Laurentiis shared his sorrow over the loss of his friend Giorgio Armani.

“Armani is a man of elegance, restraint, and creativity.”

The designer had planned to hold a major event dedicated to the 50th anniversary of his fashion house Giorgio Armani during Milan Fashion Week this month.

Unfortunately, he missed his brand's shows at Milan Men's Fashion Week in June, marking the first time in his career.

Known as “Re Giorgio” – King Giorgio – the designer was involved in all the details of his collections.

In his life, he left a significant mark, and his company reported:

“Mr. Armani, as his employees and colleagues always respectfully and admiringly referred to him, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones.”

They also noted:

“Despite his illness, he dedicated himself to the company, its collections, and numerous projects.”

Additionally, in honor of him, a mourning hall will be opened in Milan on Saturday and Sunday, followed by a private memorial service.

In closing, Charles Leclerc wrote:

“We will miss you, Giorgio!”

The designer had great plans for the future, and his influence on the fashion world will be felt for a long time to come.
