Ismail Qaani, the commander of Iranian 'Quds' forces, went missing after he visited Beirut, where Israeli airstrikes took place. According to The Times of Israel, Qaani was in the southern suburb of Beirut, known as Dahiya, during the bombing aimed at senior 'Hezbollah' official Hashem Safieddine.

Two senior Iranian security officials confirmed to Reuters that contact with Qaani was lost after the strikes that occurred late last week. One of them reported that Qaani flew to Lebanon after the assassination of 'Hezbollah' leader Hassan Nasrallah, but his whereabouts became unknown following the attack.

Israeli strikes on Dahiya, which is a base for 'Hezbollah', resulted in the destruction of many high-ranking members of the group and several Iranian officers from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. Currently, 'Hezbollah' has not commented on the situation with Safieddine and the disappearance of Qaani.

Recall, the president of Israel urged Lebanese and Iranians to rise against Iran.
