Sean Ryder's Financial Troubles
According to The Sun: Gogglebox star Sean Ryder has shut down his entertainment business due to debts reaching almost £170,000.
The performing arts company owned by Sean and his wife Joann was liquidated on August 19, according to documents filed with Companies House.
Studio LambertWilliam George Entertainment, managed by Sean and his wife, has accumulated debts totaling £169,127. According to the financial report, £129,367 is owed to HMRC, £23,919 to the Royal Bank of Scotland, £14,759 in VAT, and £981 in employee income tax.
Sean, who gained fame by finishing second in the show I’m A Celebrity, founded the business in 2011, declaring its activity as 'ancillary services in the performing arts'.
Personal Challenges and New Projects
In 2023, Sean admitted that it has been difficult for him to work to fund therapy for children with ADHD.
“I have six kids, and five of them have this. That's why I'm constantly working because I have to pay for their therapy.”
“One of my daughters is a math genius. She shows signs of autism in ADHD. Not everyone shows signs of autism in ADHD, not everyone has bad memory.”
Sean also noted that ADHD has led to his memory problems and difficulties in school learning. At the end of last year, it was revealed that Sean and Bez have reunited their group to record the first new album in 18 years.
