Emotional story of Graeme Souness
According to The Sun: Graeme Souness struggled to hold back tears as he sat next to a girl suffering from the 'most brutal' skin disease during the Good Morning Britain program. Souness, who is 72, founded the charity DEBRA, which supports people living with epidermolysis bullosa (EB). This rare disease makes the skin extremely sensitive even to the slightest touch, which can lead to blisters and sores.
“This is a terrible disease, and we must do everything we can to help these people,” said Souness.
Thus, Souness's charitable work aims to raise awareness of this ailment and support those who are struggling with it. His personal experience and emotional involvement draw attention to the importance of helping people with similar issues.
