ABBA Group Surprised Their Fans.
ABBA Arena: London Concerts with Avatars
Starting from May 27, at the renowned ABBA Arena in London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, concerts will commence where instead of the popular Swedish musical quartet ABBA performing live, their young avatars will entertain the audience.
The legendary group ABBA last year for the first time in 40 years held a major concert. They released a final album, Voyage, and the musicians announced their retirement, stating that it was their last record.
Now ABBA fans have the opportunity to see digital copies of the young group members.
The creators of the avatars found it challenging to choose which songs they would perform, so the repertoire was selected based on what the group members themselves would have performed if they went on a world tour.
A team of 850 people from Industrial Light & Magic, a private company of George Lucas, worked on creating the ABBA avatars.
