On Instagram, Amy wrote:
“Today was supposed to be our wedding day. I woke up feeling a great sense of sadness and upset.
“After a very tough few months, we had to make the decision to cancel our dream wedding – we had planned it, visited our favorite place, we were so excited.
“But I know that 2026 is our year, and I can't wait to marry you @billydelbosq8. I’m so excited to start planning.”
Billy was one of the first to comment, writing:
“2026 is our year, Mrs. Delbosq.”
For Amy, mother of four, the last few months have been tough as her mother, Julia, was hospitalized after a heart attack.
Additionally, the reality star faced fierce criticism online due to significant weight loss.
Sources told Closer:
“Amy had to cancel her wedding, and she is absolutely devastated.”
“With the show plan accompanying the preparations for their big day, they had to make last-minute changes considering what is happening in their lives.”
Amy also noted the negative comments about her weight loss, admitting that the stress related to worrying about her mother led to weight loss:
“People don't know what happens behind closed doors.”
“I am going through such a great deal that my weight has just disappeared. I constantly worry about my mom.”
“She is very emotional – thinking that she will have another heart attack.”
“People think I don't eat, but I do. To be honest, I feel better when I am heavier than I am now.”
“A lot is happening right now – it’s purely stress-related.”
Amy Childs and Billy Delbosq are planning their wedding for 2026, hoping that this new phase in their lives will end the setbacks and problems they have faced recently. Amy, burdened by worries about her family and the criticism that has affected her physical state, hopes that new happiness will bring joy and stability into their lives. This couple has long been in a joyful phase, and now all that is left is to wait for the new wedding day date.
