Challenges of a young talent
According to The Sun: Ruben Amorim admits he feels nervous every time Patrick Dorgu touches the ball. The Portuguese coach openly states that the 21-year-old Dorgu struggles to cope with the pressure present at such big clubs as Manchester United.
This season, Dorgu has faced criticism for his insufficient attack clearance. This became apparent during a disappointing game where the team lost 1-0 at home.
“Every time he touches the ball, I feel anxiety,” said Amorim.
The situation with Patrick Dorgu illustrates how important it is for young athletes to find their rhythm and gain confidence in big clubs. Coach Amorim is trying to support his protégé, hoping that over time Patrick will be able to overcome these challenges and showcase his potential on the field.
