Struggles in Intimate Relationships

Anna, host of 'Celebs Go Dating', spoke about the challenges in her relationship with husband Alex Di Pasquale. According to her, their busy schedules often hinder feelings of intimacy.

In a recent episode of the Fabulous No Parental Guidance podcast, the 44-year-old star shared details about their sex life and offered advice on how to keep the spark alive, even after a long day.

”The first thing to note is that it is difficult,” - she noted.

Anna also pointed out that one should not compare their lives to others, as everyone has their own circumstances.

”I believe there are many statistics that state the average couple has sex once a week,” - she added.

Lois, 45, mentioned that a poll she conducted on Instagram revealed a shocking fact: many of her followers confessed they engage in intimate relations 'once every three months'. Anna confirmed that she herself does not have sex once a week and considers sleeping together to be “very boring,” but during vacation, the situation is quite different.

Sexual Moments During Vacation

”During the summer holidays, we went on vacation. When the kids fell asleep, we thought: 'Don’t you want to take a shower?'” - she joked.

However, after this moment, the couple realized how 'sad' their sex life had become.

”We even hit each other on the arm – that’s how sad it was,” - she laughed.

Quality Over Quantity

Anna urged parents not to settle for a lack of intimacy in their relationships.

”You need to strive, you need to work hard on your relationships,” - she emphasized.

According to her, raising children is wonderful, but it takes a lot of time and energy. It is important to look for opportunities to strengthen the relationship, even if it's just a simple evening at the table while the kids sleep or are under the care of relatives.

”Just try to do what you can, when you can – but don’t leave it in the background,” - Anna urged.

Anna Williamson's experience and advice remind us of the importance of maintaining closeness in relationships, despite the everyday hustle. She emphasizes that a lack of intimacy is not the norm for parents, and their efforts can greatly impact the quality of the relationship. All this underscores the need for a balance between family responsibilities and personal life.
