Daniella secretly signed Akonne for the second season of a show aimed at helping guys become better. However, the producers devised a plan to convince Akonne to fly to Tenerife, telling him he was cast for a fake show called 'Hot Guys with David Pott', where he would compete for the title of best 'hottie' at parties.

Revealing the Truth

On the show, Akonne is somewhat amused at the club until Daniella appears to tell him the truth about the show.

“You don’t expect to get caught up in something that was orchestrated by someone you love,”

Akonne said, commenting on his testing moment. He noted that at the moment of revelation, he was wearing an apron and a bow tie and felt 'exposed'.
