Gay man married a woman: how their relationship works.
Extraordinary marriage: a heterosexual woman married a gay man
According to The Sun: Usually, mutual attraction is the foundation of many relationships. But one couple managed to cross all boundaries and even got married despite having different sexual preferences.
Samantha and Josh are legally married even though he identifies as gay.
Samantha Greenstone and Josh Hoff got married last year, despite Josh identifying as gay.
Moreover, the couple has been intimate, which has led to confusion for many online.
All this raised numerous questions on the internet. In one video, Samantha said: 'I am marrying a gay man. We are heading to city hall right now. We just got our marriage certificate, and it's so exciting.'
The couple met nine years ago as friends, but their relationship quickly turned into something more.
Two years after they became friends, Samantha admitted that she had romantic feelings for Josh and told him about it; it turned out he felt the same way, and the couple started dating.
The Los Angeles couple told Business Insider that they are in a 'mixed' relationship where they have different sexual orientations. Josh is gay, and Samantha is a straight woman.
Many people confused their relationship with a 'lavender marriage', a term used to describe one or two individuals from the LGBTQ+ community who marry for external safety or convenience for the appearance of a heterosexual relationship.
But the couple insists that this does not apply to them.
Complete understanding
Josh said to the publication: 'I am 100% satisfied with our marriage. So to say we are in a 'lavender marriage', I think, takes away from the real essence that this is just two people who love each other for who they are, not for what they are.'
'Lavender marriage looks like a marriage of convenience compared to a marriage of true pure love, like in our case.'
In other TikTok videos, the couple also shares candid details about how they spend time in the bedroom.
The birds and the bees
Samantha shared: 'Do I sleep with my gay husband? Interesting question. Yes.
'And not just next to each other under the covers. No. And we are not cutting a hole in the sheet like Puritans. No.
'We do it the ancient way. Yes.
'And if you're confused about what that means, it's not our place to teach you about the birds and the bees.'
She continued: 'I know that for many of you it's a brain teaser to think, how can he sleep with a woman?'
But Josh added: 'It's not just a woman. It's my wife. She is my kindred spirit and partner.'
The video published on her TikTok account @samanthawynngreenstone went viral and garnered over 4.4 million views and 352 thousand likes.
People rushed to the comments, clearly still puzzled by the couple's relationship.

A third wrote: 'People don’t understand this. He’s gay, he would usually choose men. But he FELL IN LOVE WITH HER. She’s an exception to the rule.

Meanwhile, a fourth person said: 'I still armed, I don't understand.'
'Honestly, who cares. As long as you’re happy, no one else gets hurt. Keep going,' stated a fifth.
Someone else added: 'I never ask personal questions, but thank you for clarifying.'
'I won’t lie, and still, I’m very confused and have thousands of questions that I won’t ask.'
