Fans' commemoration and tribute

Jack White, the famous musician, paid tribute to Viv Prince on Friday by posting his photo on Instagram.

“Viv was an incredible drummer, a wild man full of energy. He played for The Pretty Things and influenced many other musicians, such as Keith Moon. I had the fortune to meet Viv a few years ago when he was working on his farm in Portugal. He was an inspired and eccentric figure in the rock and roll world, and perhaps I will gather a team to create a documentary about this man someday. Safe travels into the sweet beyond, Viv, you were one of the real ones. -III”

Fans actively shared their memories of Viv and urged White to create a documentary about him.

The cause of his death has not yet been announced.

Viv Prince was born in Loughborough in 1941 and joined The Pretty Things in 1964, where he often stirred up commotion on stage. After leaving the band, he performed with various groups, including filling in for musicians at concerts for The Who, Honeycombs, and Hawkwind.
