The rockers have remarkably changed, blowing up social media with their new musical "blast from the past." Performing their classic song, fans were shocked by the changes but impressed by how great they still sound.

The band first took the stage in 1991 with their debut album,  Pocket Full of Kryptonite.

This American alternative rock band from New York is best known for their 90's hits like Two Princes and Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong, which ranked 7th and 17th respectively on the Billboard Hot 100.

Of course, we're talking about Spin Doctors.

The band consists of Chris Barron (vocals), Eric Schenkman (guitar, vocals), Aaron Comess (drums, keyboards), and new bassist Jack Daly.

The 57-year-old frontman posted on TikTok: “In the studio with Spin Doctors.”

He also expressed gratitude: “Huge thanks to @Musora for the recording opportunity. Check out the whole session now on.”

Fans were thrilled: “The sound is as if it was written yesterday.”

Another fan shared: “I want to go back to the 90's.”

“Back to the summer of '93,” - reminisced a third.

“This song always lifts my spirits,” - confessed a fourth.

“You still sound amazing!” - praised another fan.

“I feel so old,” - admitted a fan.

“Damn, even Spin Doctors are getting old. I hate aging,” - complained another.

In 2011, the band celebrated two decades since the release of Pocket Full of Kryptonite, touring the UK and the US.

That year, Sony Legacy released a special 20th-anniversary edition of the album with bonus tracks.

Two years later, in April 2013, they presented their sixth studio album, If the River Was Whiskey.

In January 2022, the band parted ways with founding bassist Mark White after 33 years together due to his refusal to comply with COVID-19 vaccination mandates.

The following month, it was announced that former Lenny Kravitz bassist Jack Daly officially became a permanent member of the band.

Earlier this year, the band released Still a Gorilla - their first new single in over a decade - along with the announcement of the upcoming album Face Full of Cake.

Vocalist Chris Barron recently shared his thoughts about the band's former label, recalling how they were "overlooked" in favor of Pearl Jam.

“I still can't listen to Pearl Jam. Nothing personal, but I just can't,” - he said on the Rolling Stone Now podcast.

He added: “When we'd come to town, there were full-page advertisements for Pearl Jam's concert in those local newspapers, and not a word about us.”
