The daughter of I’m A Celeb star ate an acorn: the child ended up in the hospital.

Myles Stephenson talks about the scary incident with his daughter

According to The Sun: I’m A Celeb star Myles Stephenson experienced a tense moment when his young daughter was urgently hospitalized after swallowing an acorn.

The 33-year-old singer shared this horrifying story with fans when his daughter Sahara decided to nibble on an acorn.

Myles explained that acorns are usually consumed by squirrels, deer, and birds, but they are dangerous for humans in their raw form due to the presence of tannins which can be bitter and toxic.

In an Instagram post, the star of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! shared a cute yet alarming video with his daughter, explaining why they ended up in the hospital.

“So… she ate an acorn and now we are in urgent care! Parenting really keeps you on your toes,”

— he wrote under the video.

In the clip, Myles asks his little girl: “Why are we in the hospital?”

She replies: “Because Rara ate… an acorn.”

Myles then asks: “And was that smart?”

To which his daughter confidently replies: “Yes, tasty, acorn in my tummy.”

Myles’ daughter, Sahara, was born in December 2022.

The challenges of parenting

The singer often shares his trials and tribulations of parenting.

Myles also talks about the health of his son Shiloh, who lives with a disability after a stroke in childhood. He opened up on Instagram about how difficult the situation is for their family.

His three-year-old son was diagnosed with hemiplegic cerebral palsy following an invisible stroke that damaged his brain.

“Shiloh started with an ankle splint that was not serving its purpose. Then we moved on to a knee splint, hoping his foot could touch the ground, but that also proved unsuccessful,”

— he commented on his son's issues.

The father added that the next step will be Botox injections to relax the muscles in his leg, hoping for positive results.
