Diagnosis and Past Fears

Katie first learned about leiomyosarcoma around the time she gave birth to her eldest son Harvey, who is now 23 years old. The diagnosis was made after a nail technician discovered a nodule on her finger.

Leiomyosarcoma (LMS) is a type of cancer that affects soft tissue, and in complicated cases, the survival rate is around 50%.

Despite the seriousness of the situation, Katie revealed that two doctors initially deemed the nodule safe before she could have it removed.

“When I was pregnant with Harvey, I got cancer. I didn’t know because they couldn’t do all the scans on time,” she shared.

Current Fears

This week, Katie shared new worries: “That same finger hurts, and I thought maybe I injured it again, but there is no nodule.”

“And the pain doesn’t go away. So I’m going to get an X-ray, hoping it’s not the same again,” she added.

Katie admitted that she is worried about the persistent pain.

“I hope it’s not bad news, as usually something good happens in my life, and then something bad. Let’s hope for nothing bad,” she concluded.

Katie Price's past experiences with cancer have a significant impact on her mental and emotional state. This situation urges many people to pay attention to health issues and the importance of regular medical check-ups. The alarm signals she raises can encourage society to pay more attention to its symptoms and, above all, to listen to their bodies.
