Military expert and former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ihor Romanenko stated that in the last few days, significant events have taken place on the territory of Russia. According to him, this is the first mass strike from Ukraine aimed at military facilities in Russia in three years, using various means of destruction, including drones and ATACMS missiles.
According to Romanenko, this event is a historic moment as it signifies a transition from quantity of strikes to quality. The strikes targeted major strategic facilities such as fuel and lubricants, enterprises, and airfields that are crucial for Russian forces.
