New contract for snooker broadcasts
According to The Sun: ITV has announced plans to broadcast snooker live next year, having signed a new contract for the Champion of Champions tournament. Channel executives have signed a three-year extension agreement with Matchroom Sport for the annual tournament that takes place in November on ITV4. Some of the world's best players will participate in the competition.
"There was concern that we could completely lose snooker, so this decision is very important for our viewers," said one of ITV's representatives.
This event promises exciting matches and bright moments for sports fans. With the new contract, snooker fans can be assured that they will enjoy the best moments of the tournament without interruption over the coming years.
