In his new post, Jack Osbourne wrote:

“Hey Roger Waters. [Duck emoji] you.

“How pathetic and out of touch you’ve become. The only way you seem to get attention these days is vomiting out bull [poop emoji] in the press.

“My father always thought you were a [weary cat emoji] – thanks for proving him right [clown emoji].”

He also added that his previous post was deleted for 'hate speech', so he decided to submit a softer version. In the caption of the image, he noted:

“Revised Public Statement [eye roll face emoji] per Instagram's request.”

“Same sentiment @rogerwaters #duckrogerwaters.”

Roger Waters' response

Roger recently spoke in an interview, commenting:

“Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him in whatever that state he was in his whole life.

“We’ll never know. The music, I have no idea. I couldn’t give a f**k. I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did.”

He also noted that he has no interest in the work of other artists:

“Have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do. I couldn’t care less, you know.”

In defense of his late father, Jack criticized the former Pink Floyd musician. This occurred after Roger made comments about Ozzy Osbourne following his death, caused by a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Conflict within the Osbourne family

Jack's mother, Sharon Osbourne, also previously criticized Roger Waters even before Ozzy's death. She noted that his reputation leaves much to be desired.

“I’m a Jew, and I know him. I know his reputation that precedes him in our industry.”

Sharon emphasized that Roger is not understood by younger audiences, while Ozzy remained popular until the end, selling concert tickets. She believes Roger has lost touch with reality and should leave the older generation alone.

This conflict has proven to be another episode in the long-standing dispute between the Osbourne family and Roger Waters. The frankness expressed by both sides highlights the differences in perspectives on music, legacy, and intergenerational relationships in the music industry. Observing these events, one can conclude that the older generation struggles to understand the new temporal trends and changes in culture.
