Jade Thirlwall promises Little Mix reunion: It’s the last thing I’ll do.
Jade Thirlwall’s solo career debut
According to The Sun: Pop diva Jade Thirlwall has sparked excitement among fans by announcing her intention to organize a Little Mix reunion, even if it will be the last thing she does.
The 32-year-old star, known for her participation in The X Factor in 2011 alongside Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, has finally launched her solo career after the group's hiatus in 2022.
GettyJade already has two singles in the Top 10 and a Brit Award for Best Pop Act this year. She does not plan to stop there. She is currently preparing her debut album, competing for the top charts with Ed Sheeran.
A promise to fans
Despite her successes in her solo career, Jade promises Little Mix fans the reunion they have all been waiting for. In an interview with Capital Buzz, she said:
“The Little Mix reunion will happen if it’s the last thing I do. It’s important how long it takes.”
Her long-awaited debut album That’s Showbiz Baby! was released this week alongside Ed's eighth studio album Play. The album features fan-favorite singles: Angel Of My Dreams, Midnight Cowboy, Fantasy, and Plastic Box.
This release also marks the beginning of her first solo tour, which will take place in the UK and Ireland in October. Jade expressed her excitement:
“This album took years of work, so I’m incredibly happy it’s coming out. I’m so proud of ‘THAT’S SHOWBIZ BABY!’ as a creative work and can’t wait to share it with the world. Performing the album live later this year is also a dream come true. See you on tour!”
A creative evening at Angel of the North
On Thursday evening, Jade amazed fans by organizing a secret performance at the legendary Angel of the North in Newcastle. Despite giving her fans only a few hours to prepare, over a thousand people gathered to hear her perform five songs from a repurposed food trailer, dressed in a Newcastle United t-shirt.
Ed Sheeran clarifies his plans
Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran clarified his plans to move to the US, noting that they won’t be permanent. On the podcast 2 Johnnies, he said:
“I’m planning to move to America. I have family, so I can’t constantly go back and forth.”
However, he confirmed that after the tour he will return to his £3.7 million home in Suffolk, which has been nicknamed Sheeranville. On Instagram, he wrote:
“It’s easier to explain here, so I want to clarify, as there’s a narrative that people want to leave the UK for some reason.”
