James Trafford wants to leave Manchester City just five months after joining: what is the reason.
James Trafford may leave Manchester City
According to The Sun: James Trafford is reportedly preparing to leave Manchester City just five months after rejoining the club. The goalkeeper returned to the team after a transfer from Burnley for 27 million pounds. He previously played for Manchester City until 2023, when the club exercised their transfer rights to outbid Newcastle in the race for his signature in July.
“I am always ready for a new challenge,” he said.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper is likely seeking more playing time, and this may be one of the reasons for his desire to leave the club.
Such transformations in Premier League teams are often associated with players' aspirations for personal development and professional growth. For Trafford, this could be a new step in his career if the young goalkeeper's demands are heard by the club.
