According to The Sun: Singer Jessie J has canceled her upcoming tour in the US and postponed concerts in the UK due to ongoing health issues.

In June, she admitted that she is battling breast cancer and has already undergone a mastectomy.

Recently, Jessie informed her fans that she needs to undergo a second surgery. She clarified that the procedure is not serious but has to happen before the end of the year.

In a new post, she announced that she has canceled her tour in the US and postponed concerts in the UK, as her surgery is scheduled for October, which conflicts with the dates of her European tour.

She wrote on social media: “I am very sorry, I feel frustration and sadness.”

“But I need to recover, and this is the right decision.”

The singer also shared that she was diagnosed with breast cancer in June, but doctors assured her that the disease was caught early.

Weeks later, she underwent a mastectomy and shared her experiences regarding the physical and emotional aspects of treatment.

She talked about how her son supported her before the surgery by saying: “Mom will be okay.”

Jessie learned that the cancer has not spread, but she continues to speak openly about the challenges she faces during her recovery.

Challenges of Motherhood

Jessie, whose real name is Jessie Cornish, also spoke about how the illness has affected her motherhood. She confessed: “I feel that cancer has taken away memories with my boy.”

“I can’t be the mother I want to be, and I feel that I have been robbed.”

The singer has undergone reconstructive surgery on one of her breasts. Recently, she informed her followers on social media about a follow-up visit to the hospital six weeks after the surgery.

Jessie shared images from the hospital and reported: “This is how I spent the last 24 hours. Six weeks after surgery, and I returned to the same ward as after the surgery. Unexpected.”

She explained: “I had and still have symptoms indicating a possible blood clot in the lung. THANK GOD, it’s not a blood clot. But many tests were conducted, which revealed an infection (I am still trying to figure out what it is) and some fluid in the lung.”

“It’s hard to breathe, but I was discharged last night (I hate being in the hospital) and will continue the examinations as an outpatient.”

Jessie J continues her fight against breast cancer and openly shares her experiences with her fans. Her courage and determination earn the respect of many, and her story becomes an important example for those facing similar challenges. The singer plans to focus on her recovery in the hope of returning to the stage soon.
