Health update of Jessie J after battling cancer
According to The Sun: Jessie J shared with fans news about her health after returning to the stage.
The 37-year-old pop star underwent a mastectomy this year after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
SplashOver the weekend, Jessie performed in her home county of Essex during the Radio 2 in the Park concert.
She also appeared on Capital Xtra, where she said that her fifth album had been waiting for release for four years.
“I am really okay, guys. I have been through a lot in my life. This is one of the first challenges I faced publicly, and it is an opportunity to show how I cope with it,”
– she said, adding: “It is a personal journey. Every body reacts in its own way. Recovering has been difficult, especially with Sky. His dad was working, so it was tough for me because I couldn’t lift him.”
Despite the challenges, Jessie wants to return to music and continue her creative work.
She ensured that the album combines various genres – from R&B to pop classics.
“It has been long awaited. The album was supposed to come out in 2021, but it didn’t happen,”
“Today I received the final mix, I can finally breathe. It has been a difficult five-year journey.”
The theme of the album is moving from sadness to joy.

Before the procedure, she performed on Saturday in Chelmsford with Bryan Adams.
When Jessie appeared on stage, the audience greeted her with heartfelt applause.
“Some of you may know, others may not, but today marks 11 weeks since my surgery,”
“After the last performance I didn’t know what would come next, but I am still in recovery. I am not ready for big activity, but I really want to,”– she added.
Jessie thanked the audience for their support: “I am just grateful to be here, you can’t imagine how happy I am to see so many of you singing along with me after all these years.”
She also surprised fans by inviting her two-year-old son Skye on stage.
“Today something else special is happening — my son is seeing me sing on stage for the first time.”
Jessie performed her new song titled Living My Best Life, emphasizing that this song has a special meaning for her.
“Some of you may know about it, others may not, but I was diagnosed exactly two weeks before the release of this song. Everyone said: 'Let’s stop the process,' but I said: 'life is not about that.'”

Jessie noted: “Life is holding on in the rain with an umbrella and moving forward.”
“For me, music is a remedy. It helps me strive to get up in the morning and inspires me to live.”
“Thank you for allowing me to create music that can support others in bad or good days.”
“So this song is called Living My Best Life, and that’s what I do every day.”
Jessie also added that her next procedure is not 'something serious', but 'it just needs to be done before the end of the year.'
The surgery is scheduled for October, and as a result, Jessie has to cancel her tour in the United States and adjust her schedule in the UK.
“I am really sorry, I feel lost and sad. But I have to be healthy, and that’s the right decision,”– she said.
