Health Issues
Jessie, who is 37 years old, underwent a mastectomy this year after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
At the beginning of the month, she performed for the first time after the operation and impressed the audience with a radiant performance at Radio 2 in the Park.
Before the album announcement, Jessie shared that she is planning her fifth recording and gave an update on her recovery journey in an interview with Capital Xtra.
“I am really good, guys. I felt that I have gone through many health issues in my life. This is one of the first things I've experienced publicly that others have gone through too.”
“This is a personal journey. Every body will respond differently. Recovery is complicated, especially when you have Skye.”
Despite all the difficulties, Jessie is striving to return to music. She emphasized that her new album will feature diverse genres, from heavy R&B to major pop songs.

The announcement of Jessie’s album came after she had to postpone her concerts due to medical appointments related to her treatment.
The singer canceled her US tour and postponed her European shows to 2026 due to a planned operation in October, which poses a barrier for the tour.
