Conflict Between Comedy Legends

According to The Sun: Once these two were best friends and part of one of the most famous British comedy groups, but it seems that a reunion of Monty Python will not happen.

Eric Idle and John Cleese are currently in serious conflict over money. The situation does not look funny at all.

“I think the ship has already sailed. And it really has sunk,” said Eric, 82, who is starting his tour today.

“I had spoken to John Cleese during three tours, and he was quite nice, but now he doesn't seem quite like that.”

“I don’t know why. I haven’t seen him for 10 years, so I don’t know what’s going on.

“Do I care? No, it doesn’t matter, because what can I do?”

“People ask why he is so angry? I don’t know.”

“He has his life, and I have mine, and my life is quite good.”

Together they created some of the funniest sketches and jokes in the history of comedy. However, over time, their relationship deteriorated, particularly because Eric feels that royalties are distributed unfairly.

He confessed: “They get more money than they ever deserved. They have made millions, and now they seem unhappy and miserable.”

“I’m sure there will be Monty Python artificial intelligence at some point. Let’s be honest, John Cleese can’t do silly walks anymore,”

Eric predicts that the only chance to see the group on stage again is if they are replaced by AI-based holograms.

Eric continues his tour with the show 'Always Look On The Bright Side of Life Live' in eight cities across the UK, finishing with a performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

In his show, he promises 'improper' songs and will talk about his famous friends who have passed away, including mentions of David Bowie and Robin Williams.

“Many of my friends have gone. David Bowie was my friend, can you believe it?”

Although Eric maintains a positive attitude, the conflict between him and John Cleese, as well as other members, continues to raise concerns. It is unknown what awaits Monty Python in the future, but Eric believes that comedy must live on.
