Fans of 'Dance Moms' were thrilled to learn about JoJo's new project that she will be working on with her 'soulmate' Chris Hughes. She noted:

“I can’t talk about it much because there are numerous negotiations going on, and I’m not authorized.”

She added that the new project will surprise everyone:

“Everyone is asking: ‘Oh, do you really want to do this? Will it be sad for you?’ I say: ‘No, no, no. It’s all just fun. It’s an easy project.’”

Working together with a partner isn't always easy, but JoJo already has experience working with her mom Jessalyn, so she knows how to find balance in relationships.

Challenges from the past

JoJo confessed that her time on 'Dance Moms' was difficult, and it still impacts her life. Despite the challenges, the show opened many doors for her, including at Nickelodeon, where she launched over 500 products globally.

Her signature bows sold in 80 million units, and JoJo became a favorite of many kids, including Kim Kardashian's daughter. However, due to stress related to the show, she was left with alopecia. She said:

“When I was little, I had a lot of stress, and I damaged all the hair follicles in that area.”
Strict dance teacher Abby Lee Miller became known for her yelling at JoJo and other girls.

Now, with new opportunities on the horizon and a romance with Chris, JoJo feels happy and confident in herself. She emphasized:

“This year has been unpredictable but amazing. I fell in love with someone who I believe is my forever.”
