Katie Price is getting ready for a musical comeback
According to The Sun: Katie Price is returning to the studio alongside X Factor star, planning a major pop comeback.
Unexpectedly, her 2017 hit 'I Got U' suddenly soared to third place in the charts last night.
Instagram InstagramHowever, the 47-year-old Katie is already actively working on new music with producer Rick Live.
They met back in 2010 and collaborated on the songs 'Hurricane' and 'Heartbroken'.
Their unexpected success on the music charts came as a pleasant surprise to old friends, who remained in “shocked” excitement about the events.
“It was absolutely unexpected. My phone started ringing off the hook with missed calls and messages from people saying, 'you’re back in the charts again.' It’s crazy,”
— shared Rick Live in an exclusive interview.
“Katie is absolutely thrilled about this, and we are both too.”
The producer is working with Katie on a new album and plans to connect her with X Factor winner Sam Bailey.
“We’ve already finished recording the next song. The sound is ready. The vocals have been recorded by a session singer, and Katie is currently learning the music. We have studio sessions booked for next week for her to record her parts,” — noted Rick.
“This was already planned. It’s just a coincidence that some old music returned to the charts this week.”
Katie's next song – 'Broken' – is set to be released at the end of this month.
“This song really resonates with Katie,”
— added Rick.

“For Katie, it's about feeling broken but returning to normalcy,”
— noted Rick.
“She says it’s something that really resonates with her, as each time something goes wrong – be it breaking her leg, her relationships going south, or exes resurfacing – she says: ‘don’t worry, I’ll bounce back.’
Katie plans to return to the studio next week to record vocals for the new track.
She is also interested in collaborating with Craig Colton, who wrote 'I Got U'.
Rick explained: “I create and write records, so we sit in the studio and go through my vast catalog. If Katie says ‘yes, I like this,’ we check if it's vocally suitable. When we find something that suits her, we can change the key. Once the vocals are ready, I pull the entire backing track and create everything from scratch.”
Katie Price is returning to music and seems to be serious about it. Her new projects promise to be exciting, and many fans are eagerly waiting to see what she has to offer. A return to her music career could mark a new phase in her life as an artist and public figure.
