According to The Sun: Katie Price urgently sought medical attention, as she does not understand why she is losing so much weight.

The 47-year-old star has lost significant weight recently, raising concerns among her fans who began to inquire about her health.

Katie noted that she had to go to the hospital due to rapid weight loss.

Over the weekend, Price shared with her fans on Snapchat: “I woke up early so the doctor could take my blood, and because my veins are very weak, she had to try three times.”

“They could only fill two vials, so I need to go back in two weeks.”

“I also have to remove stitches because the doctors examined my small wound.”

“The reason I’m going to the doctor is that I keep losing weight, and I don’t know why. That’s it.”

Aside from weight loss, Katie recently visited the emergency room after accidentally cutting her hand while cooking curry.

She shared that she received stitches, and the deep cut left half of her left hand numb.

“Last night, I accidentally stabbed myself with a knife, you can see how deep the cut was, and I had to get stitches.”

This came after Katie caused concern among her fans, stating she spent a night in the emergency room but did not disclose the reason.

She posted a photo of the emergency room sign and wrote: “This is not what I planned for Friday night.”

In a second post, she shared a video of herself getting her eyebrows laminated to provide an additional update. Katie said: “I didn’t plan to end up in the emergency room on Friday.”

Medical Tests and Concerns

Katie also recently revealed that she is undergoing medical tests due to persistent pain in a finger where she previously had cancer.

The star noted that new symptoms raised concerns about a recurrence of the disease.

“I had blood tests and learned that I have very low platelet levels, which could be a reason for my weight loss.”

Katie shared: “I am very tired, I have no energy. The doctors said this could affect it, and I might need a blood transfusion to raise my platelet levels.”

Katie's Battle with Cancer

Katie had previously shared her battle with a rare form of cancer.

In 2002, when she was pregnant, she was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma, a rare form of soft tissue cancer.

“When I was pregnant with Harvey, I was found to have cancer called leiomyosarcoma.”

The star added that for six years she underwent MRIs and other examinations until she was declared healthy.

Recently, she noted that the same finger started bothering her again.

Katie revealed that her nail technician discovered a tumor on her arm, although two doctors initially considered it safe. However, after a biopsy, she was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma.
