According to The Sun: Katie Price's newborn kittens ended up in the hospital due to health issues.

This news was made public amid criticism from several animal welfare organizations, including PETA and RSPCA, after a number of animals died under her care.

The latest cause for concern was a litter of sphinx kittens that became ill. Katie took them in after one of the three designer sphinx cats she received last October gave birth.

The star shared her experience on Facebook when her partner J. J. discovered two kittens that looked "lifeless" and unhealthy.

“J. J. called out and said he thought two kittens were dead because they weren't moving.

“He showed me them, and they were all lethargic with their tongues sticking out, two of them.

“I said we need to take them to the vet immediately.”

Katie was bottle-feeding the litter since they were premature and even took them with her on tour to keep an eye on their condition. Meanwhile, the mother cat is recovering and taking antibiotics.

This week, Katie shared several posts on Snapchat detailing the kittens' progress. Yesterday she posted a story showing how she was conducting a vet check while holding a cream blanket with the kittens inside.

Serious health issues with the kittens

Katie also posted an emotional video from her car, where she spoke about the kittens' deteriorating condition:

“The kittens are feeling very poorly, despite the fact that we previously took them to the vet.

“J. J. had to rush them to the veterinary clinic.

“I didn't know whether to go back on stage or not [she was performing at that moment], but I had no choice as people had paid for tickets.

“So, we're already on our way back to the vet, and the situation doesn't look very good. We're hoping for the best; they are like our children, and we're doing everything we can.”

Previously, the RSPCA representatives had contacted Katie after her dog died in a car accident. She described it as a "deliberate attempt to kill it" and insisted that it was unintentional.

In total, six other pets of Katie have died, including four more dogs, a horse, and a chameleon.
