KHAYAT Enters the Race for Eurovision 2026

According to Novyny.live: Ukrainian singer Andrii Khaiat, known as KHAYAT, has made a last-minute entry into the national selection process for Eurovision 2026. He has submitted two songs for consideration, including one titled 'Hertsi,' for which he has already premiered a music video. The Eurovision Song Contest is a major global platform that has launched the careers of numerous international artists.

KHAYAT emphasized that his decision to enter was entirely unplanned.

"I had no plans to participate this year; it wasn't part of any strategy. We didn't get together after last year's selection and decide to start working on the next one. It was a spontaneous decision. I submitted my application on the second-to-last day because the song wasn't ready until then,"
the artist explained.

New Music and Future Prospects

With the national selection set for 2026, KHAYAT hopes his work will resonate with audiences. His active development of new compositions demonstrates his readiness for such a large-scale musical event.

KHAYAT's entry into the Eurovision 2026 selection underscores his dynamic presence in the music industry, despite the impulsive nature of his decision. This move could open new doors on the international stage, leveraging the contest's massive popularity. His participation is expected to draw attention from both Ukrainian and global listeners, potentially giving a significant boost to his career trajectory.
