The number of victims of the Russian massive strike on Kyiv has risen to 23. This was reported by the city military administration on August 29. Among the dead are four children. More than 60 people were injured, informs FREEДOM.
Injured in hospitals
There are 35 injured people in medical facilities in the capital, including six children. In the Darnytskyi district, where the entrance of a residential building was destroyed, rescuers continue to clear the rubble.
'Throughout the night, rescuers worked continuously at the sites of destruction, continuing to clear the rubble and conduct search operations,' the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine informed.
The city authorities reported that as of the evening of August 28, 225 residential buildings had been damaged in the city. Today, a day of mourning has been declared in Kyiv.

It is reminded that during the night of August 28, Russian troops attacked Kyiv with missiles and drones. The air raid alert lasted more than 11 hours. About 100 objects were affected, and serious destruction occurred in 20 locations across seven districts of the city. In the Darnytskyi district, the entrance of a five-storey building collapsed as a result of the attack.
This tragedy has left a deep mark in the hearts of Kyiv residents. The local authorities are actively engaging rescue units for further clearance of the rubble and assistance to the victims.
