Cryptocurrency – a new world currency?.
Cryptocurrency, as non-physical money, has long flooded various markets, and in recent months has every chance of becoming popular at the state level.
The authorities of Rio de Janeiro will allow citizens to pay with electronic money. It was also announced that companies will be created. They will allow for exchange for traditional money. Taxes will be deducted from cryptocurrency, just like from regular currency.
Cryptocurrency transfers will be regulated and also subject to protocols. This will help legalize the entire process.
The innovations will take effect from 2023, and until then, serious and long-term work is planned. As a result, Rio de Janeiro will become the first city in Brazil with the ability to pay with cryptocurrency.
