The singer explained that her voice was 'extremely tense' during rehearsals, and doctors advised her to refrain from performing due to health risks.

“Hello everyone, I am really very sorry, but I need to postpone tonight's show in Miami. During rehearsal last night and my vocal warm-ups today, my voice was extremely tense, and both my doctor and vocal coach advised me not to go on stage due to the risk it poses.”

“I want to be strong and just push through for you, but I don't want to risk long-term or permanent damage to my vocal cords.”

“Despite the fact that this was a difficult and painful decision, I would be more afraid of the long-term consequences for my voice.”

Lady Gaga also asked fans to understand her situation and apologized for the inconvenience: “I hope you can forgive me and accept my sincere apology for any disappointment, inconvenience.”
