According to The Sun: Laura Woods shared her difficult moments with fiancé Adam Collard that occurred after the miscarriage. This sad event happened just a few months before Adam's participation in the show Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.
Adam cried as he spoke about the difficult loss on Celebrity SAS Channel 4Adam, 29, did not hold back tears as he recalled the loss of their unborn baby during the emotional moments of the show.
Laura, 38, talked about how she coped with grief during one of the toughest periods of her life. She shared a video of Adam from the show on Instagram, writing:
“We truly went through some very awful times last year, but this big, beautiful man helped me through every one of them. And I was so proud watching him.”
The sports presenter noted that she feels 'mixed emotions,' but baby Leo has become her comfort. In her post, she shared:
“Sometimes I look at Leo and think about the baby we will never meet, while also knowing that without this we wouldn’t have Leo.”
“When it happened, a wonderful nurse in the hospital told me – this little being was not meant for this world, so this process is her way of keeping you safe.”
“And it really filled me with great comfort.”
“I decided to share this, as maybe there is someone who has also experienced a loss.”
Adam’s painful memories
Adam recounted how he nearly backed out of participating in Celebrity SAS after the difficult few months. He shared that he struggles with depression.
Emotionally charged, Adam struggled to express his thoughts:
“One of the reasons was related to my partner… and… we lost… when it was quite close to talk about it.”
As the tears flowed, the participants clarified that he was talking about the miscarriage, and Adam nodded.
He noted:
“I was proud to be set up for this, something I thought would never be.”

Adam, who started dating Laura in October 2023, admitted that he blames his past for the loss of the child, considering it “bad karma” for his behavior on the show.
Recently, they became parents to baby Leo, who was born in January this year.
