According to The Sun: Controversial Scottish DJ Keith MacIvor, better known as JD Twitch, has died at the age of 57 after being diagnosed with an incurable brain tumor.

Keith announced his illness in July when he was forced to miss several performances.

In August, she reported that Keith's condition had sharply deteriorated, significantly affecting his speech and movement, necessitating round-the-clock care.

Keith was one of the founders of Optimo Espacio – a popular party that took place every Sunday at the Sub Club in Glasgow, which he hosted alongside Johnny Wilkes, known to fans as JG Wilkes.

This event earned a reputation for its diversity of music and remained a favorite party spot in Scotland until 2010.

Today, Johnny Wilkes announced Keith's death.

He stated: “With great sadness I write to inform you that Keith quietly passed to eternity yesterday at 14:06 in Glasgow.”

“Throughout 28 years of partnership, he changed my life forever, and together we took our work in new directions.”

He honored his “unmatched” partner, adding that he loved him for his “faith in people” who “stand together.”

Keith and Johnny first met on a bus traveling from Edinburgh to Glasgow in the mid-1990s.

They founded this iconic club and traveled the world, performing at various clubs and festivals.

After announcing his illness, Johnny shared his feelings online.

He wrote: “It’s too painful to express in words what I truly feel. I don’t know if I have the words for this.”

“I love you, Keith. You inspired me like no one else. I am proud of what we did together.”

“I will continue Optimo Espacio, always keeping you in my heart. The music will speak for both of us.”
