Liam and Noel Gallagher's brother accused of rape: details of the case.
Paul Gallagher to face court over multiple sexual offenses
According to The Sun: Liam and Noel Gallagher's older brother, Paul Gallagher, a 59-year-old DJ and photographer, appeared in court today, accused of rape and a series of sexual offenses.
He was arrested last month following an investigation by Scotland Yard.
GettyGallagher appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court for a brief hearing.
He has been charged with rape, coercive and controlling behavior, as well as three counts of sexual assault.
Furthermore, he is also accused of three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of threats to kill, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
All offenses allegedly took place between 2022 and 2024.
During the hearing, Paul only confirmed his name, age, and address, but did not enter any pleas.
He was granted bail and the next hearing is set for September 24 at Harrow court.
Scotland Yard confirmed that the investigation was initiated last year and noted that the woman is receiving support from specially trained officers.
Meanwhile, the charges come amid a large Oasis Live ’25 tour across the UK, which began before the band's departure to the US.
According to The Sun, Liam showed support for his older brother by flying with him to his last concert before the court hearing.
Paul, who is a year older than Noel and seven years older than Liam, has never been a member of Oasis.
The three brothers grew up in Burnage, Manchester. In 1996, Paul published a book 'Brothers: From Childhood to Oasis - The True Story', which describes Liam and Noel's struggles and their life in the spotlight, supported by their mother, Peggy, and includes previously unpublished family photos.
“Our client, Paul Gallagher, has been accused of a series of offenses relating to one person. Mr. Gallagher has always actively cooperated with the police during their investigation and has always firmly denied the accusations against him,” the statement reads.
“He hopes to clear his name, but as legal proceedings are ongoing, our client cannot provide further comments.”

It is important to emphasize that Gallagher, despite serious accusations, denies his guilt and intends to fight them in court. The next hearing will take place in mid-September when it will be decided what fate awaits Paul Gallagher and how this case will affect his family and public image.
