On Monday, Lil Nas, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, was released from jail after pleading not guilty to four felonies, including assault on police officers during his naked arrest in the early hours of Thursday.

“Your girl is going to be okay,” he said in a selfie video posted on Instagram on Tuesday.
“Okay? She’s going to be alright.”

The rapper laughed and looked around before adding:

“That was f**king terrifying. That was terrifying.”
“That was a terrifying last four days. But your girl is gonna be alright.”

The 26-year-old artist is accused of assaulting Los Angeles police officers after he was found wandering Studio City in his underwear and cowboy boots around 6 AM.

Disturbing video footage from the scene showed Lil Nas looking bewildered, speaking indistinctly, and strolling down the street. In one clip, he donned a traffic cone on his head.

When law enforcement attempted to stop him, Nas allegedly assaulted them, according to police.

He was also taken to the nearest hospital due to a possible overdose, where he spent several hours before being transferred to jail.

It is not entirely clear what led to the confrontation. Prior to his arrest, he had been active on Instagram after a short break from social media.

Throughout the past week, he posted a series of odd messages that caused concern over his disarray at home and incoherent speech.

After being released from jail on Monday, he paid $75,000. The judge ordered him to attend four Narcotics Anonymous meetings per week or undergo outpatient treatment.

However, his father previously told TMZ that his son does not use drugs and asked fans to pray for him.

Lil Nas is charged with three counts of assaulting a police officer and one count of resisting an executive officer, police reported.

Earlier this year, he raised concerns when he informed fans that he lost control over the right side of his face.

This incident has drawn widespread media attention and concern from fans. Given the circumstances surrounding the arrest and subsequent statements from the rapper himself, the situation warrants careful consideration and may indicate deeper issues in his life. Many loyal listeners and followers of Lil Nas express concern over his well-being and support him during this difficult time.
