Return to Music
After the label's disappointment regarding Leigh-Anne's solo success, the singer decided to return to music and work independently. Following her break from Little Mix, she signed a contract with Warner as a solo artist in 2022 and released the EP 'No Hard Feelings' in 2023.
However, Warner refused to finance the music video for her latest release, as the label was reportedly unimpressed with her previous tracks. Nevertheless, Leigh-Anne announced a collaboration with the Virgin Music Group in her new video by displaying their logo in the player.
The Virgin Music Group supports independent artists. Leigh-Anne confirmed the label switch by sharing a voice message to fans on Discord in May, stating:
“Honestly, I wanted to talk so much about what’s going on, but obviously the process of switching takes time.”
She also added:
“But yes, we’re here, I need your support, it’s coming.”
“It’s going to be the summer of Leigh-Anne, so get ready,” - she said in comments to Virgin under her music announcement on Instagram.
