“We decided to go to the Sticky Waterfall on the last day before our departure. On the way back, we hit a huge pothole on the highway.”

After the accident, the motorcycle overturned, and her friend landed on the ground, while Chanci slid under the bike for about ten feet before stopping.

Difficult recovery

Chanci also shared that

“we were driving at a speed that complied with the limits when the accident happened.”

During her lengthy hospital stay, she underwent a skin graft. She was unable to walk for two weeks after the accident, while her friend Connie broke three ankle bones.
