Explosions in Lutsk: one killed and houses damaged

Early in the morning on August 26, during an air raid alert, several neighborhoods in Lutsk experienced explosions. According to the information, one person was killed and two residential buildings were damaged.

Around 8:30 a.m., a residential high-rise on one of the city's avenues was hit. This resulted in damage to the building and citizens' property.

Rescuers promptly extinguished the fire and immediately took measures to save residents and evacuate them to a safe place.

Shortly after that, around 8:50 a.m., explosions were felt in the city again. As of 9:00 in the morning, the city mayor Polischuk reported that besides the high-rise in the regional center, other objects were also damaged, and one person was killed.

Additionally, around 10:00 a.m., another residential building in the regional center suffered from an enemy attack.

«Unfortunately, we have one injured. Other details are being clarified. All necessary services are already present at the scene», - said OVA head Yuriy Pogulyayko.

Attacks on Ukraine: explosions and missiles

Recall that at 3:08 in Kyiv, air raid signals were triggered. Later, the authorities reported the presence of enemy drones. Defense forces were working to neutralize them.

Additionally, at 5:58 in the capital, the sirens blared again. The air raid alert was announced due to the threat from drones and missiles. During the morning attack by Russian troops in Kyiv, a series of explosions occurred.

Russian invaders attacked Ukraine again using missiles and drones. Numerous explosions were recorded in various regions of the country.

For example, Russian attacks on the Poltava region led to damage to an industrial facility. Additionally, five people were reported injured.

Also, in the southeastern part of Poland, aviation was raised due to the threat from Russian missiles located in western Ukraine.

As reported, on August 26, drones attacked the Saratov region. According to Governor Roman Busargin, the air defense destroyed the drones, but debris hit buildings in Saratov and Engels.
