Lviv doctors saved the father of six children who was on the verge of death due to a leg injury.
Doctors from Lviv successfully saved a man who was about to die from an infection in his leg. The well-known First Medical Association of Lviv reported this.
The man sustained an injury while loading firewood. Initially, he only had bruises, but after a few days, his leg turned black. He went to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with purulent inflammation of the soft tissues and necrosis. The infection spread quickly, leading to sepsis and kidney failure. Doctors decided to amputate the leg to save his life.
The man spent three weeks on lung ventilation and hemodialysis machines. Now his life is no longer in danger, and he intends to get a leg prosthesis. He expressed gratitude to the doctors for saving his life.
A child with a rare disease was also saved
