The women had been planning this trek for six months, making it a milestone event that allowed them to mark the occasion in an extraordinary way.

During the journey, Ilona Dovhan suffered a limb injury, but that did not stop the group from pushing forward to the summit. Commenting on their expedition, Marichka Padalko shared:

“We are three godmothers. And since we are all turning 50, we decided to climb Hoverla.”
