According to The Sun: Priscilla Presley could have joined the Kardashian family, as Kim Kardashian's father wanted to marry her.

In her new autobiography 'Softly, As I Leave You: Life After Elvis', she shares her experiences in dating and relationships after her divorce from Elvis in 1973.

She started dating lawyer Robert Kardashian in 1975, two years after her divorce from Elvis.

Priscilla never admitted to Elvis that she had other relationships, knowing that his character was very suspicious and he always carried a gun.

Her relationship with Robert developed to the point where he became the father of Kim and her siblings.

In her book, Priscilla writes:

'Robert was a sweet man, and I liked him. He wanted to marry me, but I knew it wouldn't work. I wasn't ready to marry again.'

'The Spirit Wasn't There'

Priscilla, now 80, admits that she was never able to fully let go of Elvis:

'I was very much in love with Elvis, very.'

She emphasizes that she didn't leave him out of lack of love, but simply because she couldn't stand that life.

Elvis's death at 42 in 1977 undoubtedly affected her relationships with other men. The shadow of his presence always followed her.

Priscilla recalls an incident when Elvis called her at two in the morning while she was in bed with Robert, causing her anxiety that he would find out.

She also admits that she cheated on Robert because she was 'a bit bored' with that relationship.

Robert, who died in 2003, was not the only one with whom she couldn't maintain a relationship. Among her other lovers was Spanish singer Julio Iglesias, who, according to Priscilla, invited her to his hotel room after a nightclub in Chile.

She was 'very interested', but declined, as she was then in a long-term relationship with actor Michael Edwards and feared that Julio would be too similar to Elvis.

Priscilla denies rumors of an affair with 'American Idol' producer Nigel Lithgow, but emphasizes that he was a 'good friend and companion' for many years.

However, she has experienced many unsuccessful relationships, including with famous hairstylist Elie Ezerzer, who she says was jealous of her, and with Edwards, who once showed up at a crowded restaurant wearing only a napkin.

Priscilla found it hard to find healthy relationships, as her first experience was toxic.

She started dating Elvis in 1959 when she was only 14, although she claims that their sexual relationship began only after her 21st birthday.

Elvis was very controlling, telling his young wife how to dress, who to talk to, and how to cut her hair, and of course had many fans.

I no longer have the desire to fall in love. I have kept my independence. It was hard-earned.

Among the many experiences, Priscilla mentions that after her divorce from Marco Garibaldi in 2006, there were no serious romances in her life.

She is now struggling due to a legal dispute. A month ago, lawyers for her former partners Bridget Kruse and Kevin Fiacco claimed that Priscilla 'turned off' her daughter Lisa Marie's life support machines in January 2023 for financial gain.

Priscilla's lawyer immediately responded to these accusations, calling them 'shameful.'

In 'Softly, As I Leave You', now available in bookstores, the grieving mother of Lisa Marie shares her version of the tragic events.

On January 10, 2023, Lisa, looking pale, told Priscilla that she had severe stomach cramps. Priscilla witnessed their last hug as they parted, not knowing it was the last time she heard her daughter's voice.

Two days later, Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital in Los Angeles after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Priscilla recalls that when she arrived at the hospital, 'there was little brain activity. Her spirit, always so lively, was not present.'

After granddaughter Riley Keough arrived, it was Priscilla who had to make the decision whether to keep Lisa on life support.

The doctor told her that her daughter would not have 'any quality of life.' Priscilla recalls:

'I thought of my girl, my wildly active, rebellious, passionate girl who would be in a vegetative state for her entire life.'

In that horrific moment, Priscilla decided to ask the doctor to turn off the machines. This happened as she almost lost consciousness leaving the hospital.

The death of Elvis's only child at 54 shocked the world.

Many believed that the cause of death was drug-related illnesses, but it was actually due to an intestinal obstruction after weight loss surgery.

Lisa left behind three children, including 'The Runaways' actress Riley, 36, and 16-year-old twins Harper and Finley.

In her book, Priscilla paints a picture of the younger Lisa as a demanding child who required her desires to be met and received expensive gifts from her father.

Later in life, Lisa would turn away from the questionable religion after rumors about other members being held under prison-like conditions.

Serious Disputes

A serious conflict arose between mother and daughter when Priscilla refused to sign documents claiming that Lisa Marie's husband, Michael Lockwood, was a bad father.

Lisa was preoccupied with trying to gain custody of the twins, and this caused a certain rift between them, although later their relationship improved.

Priscilla's love for her daughter is felt throughout the book. She speaks of Lisa as 'sweet, sensitive, loyal and cheerful.'

Priscilla also speaks positively of Riley, despite rumors about disputes regarding Lisa Marie's inheritance.

Together they try to preserve Elvis's legacy and his home, Graceland, as well as endure the shared pain of losing Lisa Marie.

This influence is felt in the final chapter of the memoir, where Priscilla writes:

'Every morning I wake up and realize that a large part of me is gone forever.'
