Mick Schumacher has secured a new position in IndyCar
According to The Sun: Former Formula 1 driver Mick Schumacher is now set to take his place in IndyCar. The 26-year-old athlete, son of the legendary driver Michael Schumacher, left his duties as a reserve driver for Mercedes at the end of last year. He joined the team after Haas parted ways with him in 2022, but was unable to establish himself in the lineup.
A new stage in his career
Now Schumacher will try his hand at American racing, opening new horizons for his career. 'I am very happy to have the opportunity to compete again and to use all the knowledge I've gained,' he stated.
“I look forward to the new challenges and opportunities this new role will bring,” Schumacher said.
This move could be crucial for revitalizing his career, as Mick intends to showcase his abilities at a new level. By transitioning to IndyCar, he not only has the chance to establish himself on the international racing scene but also to gain new experience that could be decisive for his future successes in motorsport.
