After the event, Mariah arrived at The Twenty Two club, where she performed her hit 'I Know What You Want' with Busta. During the performance, she stumbled over her words.
Witnesses reported that Busta supported her and called out:
“Mariah, sing,”as she tried to hit the notes.
The crowd laughed as they watched, and Busta continued to encourage her, shouting:
“Come on Mariah, give me a note,”while she looked somewhat unstable on her feet.
Carey also spoke about her new album coming out on September 26, saying:
“Ok, we gotta promote this album right now,”.

In the second part of the evening, Busta shouted:
“Please send me a f***ing vodka on the rocks up this b***.”to which Mariah replied:
“Please can I have one too, thank you, oh my God, you guys are so cute,”secretly acknowledging her drunken state.
A witness shared their impressions: 'A true queen, Mariah filled the playlist with her songs and tried to promote her new album. She was in great spirits and stayed at the party until 2 AM. It seemed like she was under the influence and was having fun.'
Carey also made a joke by calling the producer Jermaine Dupri to the microphone, saying:
“Can we play a Jermaine Dupri record please? I can’t take this.”
This is not the first time Mariah has appeared drunk on stage. Earlier this year she made headlines for her behavior at the iHeart Radio Awards.
