A mysterious retro car storage found in an abandoned Swiss mine.
Dozens of Venetian cars found in a Swiss mine
According to The Sun: In an abandoned Swiss mine, many classic cars have been discovered, left unattended. Urban explorer Edu Hofstra, 26, was astonished when he stumbled upon this car graveyard deep underground, where untouched vintage cars were located.
CatersIt is unknown how long the cars have been abandoned in the mine. One interesting feature is that more than half of them still have keys in the ignition locks.
“This place is really unique because you won't find abandoned cars in a large abandoned mine,” Edu remarked.
Edu suggested that the cars might have been “the property of a collector or a museum.” This discovery came after another explorer, Kyle Urbeck, stumbled upon a similar car graveyard in Chester, where there were over 40 cars, including luxury models and fire trucks.

He also found a BMW 635 CSI, which is slowly returning to nature. This car with its 'shark-like' design became a symbol of BMW after its debut in 1978.

It is unknown why these cars were left abandoned or who purchased them originally. But the fact that some of them have remained in good condition without signs of vandalism adds to the interest in this discovery.
This discovery not only piques the interest of car enthusiasts and collectors but also raises questions about the history of these cars. Why did they end up here? Did someone ever plan to use them? It remains to be guessed, but fascinating discoveries like this reaffirm that history is always nearby, just waiting to be noticed.
