As part of the Olympics in Paris, a game took place between the men's basketball teams of France and Japan. The tallest Victor Wembanyama and the shortest Yuki Togashi met on the court.
According to FIBA data, Wembanyama's height is 222 cm, while Togashi's is 167 cm. The difference in their height is 55 cm.
The French team won this game in overtime with a score of 94:90. This match became the first at the Olympic Games to go into overtime.
The most productive player in the French team was Victor Wembanyama. He scored 18 points, made 11 rebounds, gave six assists, made two steals and two blocks. He spent 31 minutes on the court.
Ukrainian Khizhnyak is also one step away from an Olympic medal in boxing.
