According to ТСН: A 95-year-old resident of the USA, who has been a city bus driver for 27 years, has become the world's oldest bus driver according to the Guinness World Records.
Raymond Hager from Wichita Falls was 94 years and 176 days old when his age and active driver status were confirmed on May 13.
'I am the oldest bus driver in the world,' Hager said in an interview.
He shared that he started driving at the age of 14 and quickly realized he enjoyed operating larger vehicles. About 27 years ago, he became a bus driver for Falls Ride, the public transportation system in Wichita Falls.
Hager initially planned to retire at 95, but now he intends to continue working as long as he feels healthy and capable.
The town of Wichita Falls honored Hager's achievement by declaring November 18 as Raymond Hager Day.
