Consequences of FTX collapse.
Cryptocurrency is a popular form of investment, but it does not always guarantee safety. Loss of cryptocurrency value or investor bankruptcy are real risks. Even crypto exchanges are not safe.
The collapse of the major FTX exchange has caused an uproar among investors, who are now contemplating the future of cryptocurrency.
The main cause of the exchange's collapse has already been established. The elevated price of exchange tokens, issued by FTX itself, caused the failure. These tokens were used by about 16 crypto exchanges worldwide.
Experts also state that there were signs of an impending collapse. The founder of the exchange had previously informed that FTX was created as the foundation for the Alameda company. Such a serious exchange collapse has caused distrust in cryptocurrency and the active promotion of its advantages.
