No tax increase: the US named a way to replenish Ukraine's budget.

The US Special Representative for Ukraine's Economic Recovery, Penny Pritzker, expressed support for the Ukrainian government in increasing revenues through customs reform and tackling gray markets.

Pritzker noted that addressing revenue sources is up to the Ukrainian government, and it is proposed not to raise taxes, but to focus on customs reform and combating gray markets.

"You have revenues that you are not receiving and that you should be receiving today. Let's focus on this first," Pritzker said.

She proposes customs reform through digitization, which would prevent any corruption.

"On the gray markets of cigarettes, alcohol, or electronics that can be sold in a large market, there is also a huge source of income. And so we encourage the Ukrainian government to focus on this first," Pritzker explained.
